Tulips

The tulips are too excitable, it is winter here.

The tulips are strong this season

crimson curls at their petals dripping with sunlight

mirth and cunning as ever

I hated those clusters once before

that putrid smell of fidelity that would seep itself

into my pores

it made me want to hurl

I read once that he so loved a woman

that he drove himself off a cliff

Hooves stomping and hurdling through the air to bury

himself in the ground

Those red blossoms bloomed for him there

So fickle

But when I see your eyes light up

Those sparkling cinnamon orbs showing their

adoration for such creatures

I felt my heart bloom along with those bulbs
